Hi Kiap,
Great if you can get something else on GAGR about GRR. In todays world of social media and talkback radio etc, I think us fans hove a big role to play in lighting the GRR publicity fires. We should not just sit back and wait for the paid ads and billboards from Twiggy's team.
I just heard the tail end of an interview with Ian Prior on 94.5.The radio was going in the background in another room, so I missed most of the first bit.
The owner of the World XV invitation side that opens Global Rapid Rugby’s showcase series against Western Force at HBF Park on Friday night is planning a Japan-based team to play in next year’s competition.
Promoter Steve Berrick, who is also match organiser for the world famous Barbarians, said the team would attract players from around the globe.

Confusing Steve Berrick with the former Wallaby Steve Merrick.
Yeah I would definitely welcome the BaaBaas here for a game. Either a Bledisloe blockbuster or added to the end of the season. If they added it to the bledisloe blockbuster then they should recruit an ex All Black superstar squad from around the world to play. Fly halves like Nick Evans/ Sopoanga, wingers Julian Savea, Charles Piatau etc. They could make up a pretty formidable team from their international scraps. Would give it a pretty cool bledisloe vibe to play against an around the world Ex All Black star studded team representing the BaaBaas
Interesting: From the SCT facebook page
Global Rapid Rugby is coming to Hong Kong. Don't miss out.
Sunday 21st April: South China Tigers vs Asia Pacific Dragons
Sunday 12th May: South China Tigers vs Western Force
Saturday 25th May: South China Tigers vs Malaysia Valke
Have had a few people mention to me that they couldn’t get tickets for Friday-sold out. So don’t know what the guy on GAGR is claiming they’re having trouble selling tickets. Go figure!
