Wallace-Harrison may play 6 which would then give Peter Kimlin or Dan Guinness an opportunity at lock. Or Vanderglas at 6.Quote:

9. Phibbs 10. Lealiifano/Fairbanks 11. McLaughlin 12. Fairbanks/A. Faingaa 13. Carraro 14. F. Fainifo 15. Wright
Might be a few positional switches in the backline, particularly hinging on whether 19 year old Lealiifano is given the chance at flyhalf or not.
I really hope lil' Eddie (he is only about 170cm or 5 ft 7 tall) and Frankie get the wing spots, it would set the Vikings up for some exciting play with those 2 speedy elusive wingers, especially behind that forward pack....
Ballymore Tornadoes added for you TQ1 ;)
Thanks Burgs -Jeez your're a tough act to follow with all the * and ** - Burgs someone said that a lot of ex Force guys in the list - was going to attempt to identify them - if I have a go latter can you correct it (maybes without marks out of 10?)
Hopefully we will get the Perth Spirit Team soon !
Haha, no worries mate. The * & **s were actually on the listing so I can't really claim them :D
Finally got around to highlighting Force players present or past in other teams - the current ones like Hodgson and McGrath really confuse me - unless I have just missed an announcement or something
As I understand it TQ1, there was an agreement that the four S14 teams would allow three players to go to Melbourne to help them with their depth.
Ok why are we giving Melbourne a No 9 ? thought that was what we were short of ?
All will unfold on Thursday but I have a hunch that both Curtis MacLean and James Stannard will be selected for the Force to take turns backing up Hennas.
As Captain Hennas will be expected to complete most of the matches.
In answer to the past few messages:
-QLD and NSW are giving 1 player to Melbourne. ACT and WA are giving 3.
-For WA this is McGrath, Hodgson and presumably Ioane (yes I know he is signed with the Reds but maybe he is still technically a Force member)
-As for McGrath, since we are light on in Scrum-halves it is a good idea by Mitch to have him play over at Melbourne where he will get more game time than he would as Matt's understudy (who is also captain and will be on the field longer). He only needs to compete with Luke Burgess (who has little S14 experience) for the role.
-I am sure Burgs is dead on with that assertion. I think the Force risk ridicule both at home or over east if we constantly sign new players from the east and don't even try out new players from home in the ARC.
im sure this is old news to most you but i just read in an email from rugbywa that the perth spirit squad is going to be announced on thursday, apparently matt henjak is going to be captaining the side
oops forgot to read the second page of the thread :s
