I'm actually against jumping on ebay and buying a fully signed jersey - it doesn't mean anything to the person, I have with great pride my wallaby jersey signed by Budda to Happy framed on the wall in my pool room. Just buying one from someone else to me seems impersonal, anyone can get one if you're prepared to pay for it.. mine cost me nothing but means soo much more... each to their own.
And they got it for $400, now that's a good buy regardless of what Happy thinks ;)Quote:

cant u just go to a training session and get this done? if you find a nice player theyll pass it round for you. especially if u have nice man boobs like me.
old friend of mine has got heaps of signed shirts like that from various WA teams.
Yes; but Giteau has not been training with the Force yet so I want to know if anyone has already got their jumper signed by him???
i'm sure some eastern states force supporter ran down to the brumbies or reds training sessions after the announcements and got their signatures. Not without being possibly beaten with large sticks by the brumbies and reds supporters!
but being the first to get them to sign a force jersey would be priceless...
twould be
A mate at work wanted to buy one of the Wallabies signed shirts that I won. Back in 2004 he offered $1000 but I told him he could get one a lot cheaper on eBay. He asked again last week about my 2006 shirt so I told him again to look at ebay (I want to keep mine!). I then put a watch on a few shirts on offer. On Tuesday a Wallabies shirt with 23 signatures sold for $250, yesterday one with 29 signatures sold for $340. When you consider the cost of just buying the shirt these are give away prices.
I've been watching a few with interest also. Some do go much higher depending on which game squad signed and also whether they have ALL players and also if the coach has also signed. But if you are just after a trophie for the wall - you can pick up a bargain if you are patient.
Through the generosity of one our members, TWF has secured a Wallabies jersey with the autographs of every wallabies player that was in Perth for the Irish test + John Connolly's autograph too. This will be fully mounted and framed and then will be sold in one manner or another to go towards TWF operational (or enhancement) costs.
John Connolly himself was responsible for collecting the autogtraphs from the players on this Jersey - its a great example! Stay tuned for more information on its pending sale....
gerry was talking about this last night in the chat. all very secretive about it though. i'm very intrigued! my framed signed gregan jersey lives downstairs. could do with one for my wall. :) i'll start saving now. keep us posted coach...please? (a heads up for me would be appreciated...hehe)
how much is the expected to go for?
