I would campaign for Marcel and brynard at this point. They were present for the last year's of superficial rugby and have proven their commitment to the franchise in modern times. IMHO far more influential than mitchell, giteau and o'connor

Can't complain too much with that line-up, although I'd query whether O'Connor should be in the team of the decade, having only spent 2 years of this decade at the Force, and they weren't very successful years (13th & 12th overall). Brache has been more influential in more games.
The Rugby.com.au team:

3. Tet Faulkner
4. Adam Coleman
5. Nathan Sharpe
6. Angus Cottrell
7. Matt Hodgson
8. Ben McCalman
9. Alby Mathewson
10. Jono Lance
11. Luke Morahan
12. James O'Connor
13. Kyle Godwin
14. Nick Cummins
15. Dane Haylett-Petty
I get your call on oconnor, but unfortunately many of the same issues could be attributed to sharpie and I don't think anybody questions sharpies inclusion.
I've been trying to think of a more influential 12 who played in this decade and am coming up pretty dry. Godwin has to take 13, because he was far better there than the times he played 12, Burton played some 12 I think, but never really settled there, I'm running out of other names.
Even in grr years it's hard to pin down an awesome 12 who beats what oconnor did there.
