Interesting putting Keiran in to start considering the Eagles will probably start with Paddy Ryan.
The rest of the Eagles line-up doesn't look that great; they have a Tah's reserve prop (Johnson-Holmes), a 3rd/4th string Rebels hooker (Vailanu), Tom Staniforth and Jed Holloway at lock, Will Millar the only name for the back-row, Jake Gordon at 9, Mack Mason at 10, and behind them their back stocks consist of Alex Newsome, Alex Gibbon and local club players.
I reckon the only positions where the Eagles get anywhere close to parity man-for-man are Jake Gordon vs Ian Prior, Paddy Ryan vs Keiran Longbottom, Jed Holloway vs Fergus Lee-Warner and maybe Alex Newsome vs Jack MacGregor (but probably not!); otherwise I'd say we more than match up.
Go hard, lads, and score a hat-ful. I want Dakuwaqa on a hat-trick by the hour mark, and at least one of the reserves getting a double as the Eagles tire!
Watch out though they have Harry Potter !!
The email from the Force says that they'll be wearing the state colours of gold and black this weekend.
Against the NSW Country Eagles - who play in orange and black. Are both sides going to wear their away colours?
I mean, I fully appreciate wearing gold and black for the sense of connection to the state, but the Eagles are the only side who our away strip would clash with, so why?
Here's the new jumper in The West story
Western Force’s Marcel Brache relishing shift into the centres

Marcel Brache arrived at the Western Force four years ago as a winger but the US international slipped seamlessly into the outside centre role in World Series Rugby.
He held onto the spot in the Force’s opening NRC match, the 47-29 win over Brisbane City, and will again pull on the No.13 jumper in Sunday afternoon’s clash with NSW Country Eagles at UWA Sports Park.
And it will be a traditional black and gold jumper, maintaining the tradition of the state colours worn by Perth Spirit in previous NRC competitions.

Looks good.
I'm sort of thinking the blue might've been better for this game.
But hopefully will be enough difference between gold and black, and orange and black.
Now why on earth would they wear this jumper against a team in orange?! Unless Country are wearing their black away kit.
We've got away games against Melbourne and Queensland Country where this should be utilised. I only hope the Force and Sydney don't end up both wearing blue at UWA Sports Park.
That said, I still want to buy one.
For those not there....just got onto the stream....kick off happened...and I joined late..Just as Force scored a try..3 mins in and Force lead 7
Force in Gold and Black while the NSW Country in Black
NSW push deep into the Force half put the ball in dead...Force 22 drop out
Force put the attacking NSWCE into touch in our 22
Force win the line out but the Prior box kick charged down...Force LO and we try get out of our 22...
Deegan puts it back to the NSWCE 22 and they run it back in a good break.
