Queensland Reds coach Richard Graham looks to get one over former club Western Force

IMO Brain Dead Dick is telling porkies!


AS soon as Reds coach *Richard Graham said, “This is not between me and the *Western Force”, he established that this week very much is.

There is an inevitable point-to-prove feistiness any time a coach coaches against his *former club, which is exactly what has landed on Graham’s plate this week.

It’s no different to when Force coach Michael Foley coaches against the NSW Waratahs. He wants that win a little bit more.

By player vote, Graham was stood down mid-season as Force coach in 2012 as soon as the news broke he was defecting to the Reds in 2013.

And as Saia Faing'a had a "sore shoulder" and didn't play on the weekend, he will be up for his 100th cap against us! A nice added incentive for the Reds to do well?!

I really hope the boys are salivating at the prospect of this game. This is 1 game where I really really really want them to show up. Being equal with the Reds on the ladder is even more of a motivator to win this one and I'm pretty sure judging by the shit playing attitude of the Reds lately, the Force can have this one in the bag easily if they go in with that tough and clever mindset of the last few games. The Reds have been acting lately as though they've been entitled to win those last few games they've played and with that I've been pretty surprised to say the least that they've even won a game. Cocky or what! Even the Tards dare I say have actually played a lot better than them. I hope Dick Brain's star is slowly but surely fading postEwen into a big black hole! So come on FORCE!!!

I was not a fan of Graham's coaching style when he was our coach (and looking at the Reds this season, I'm still not impressed) and I am glad that he is gone. However the way he left us, has left a bitter taste in my mouth and I hope that the boys get a massive win at Suncorp and really stick it to Graham's Reds. It will be a big task for the boys and I will be proud either way but a win will be sooo sweet. :yeah:

This is, quite simply, a must win.

Who's ref for Saturday - we had Angus Gardner last year but he's been dropped recently IIRC.

According to this SANZAR webpage: http://www.sanzarrugby.com/superrugb...-appointments/ it's Garrett Williamson. He's a Kiwi, so shouldn't have any East Coast bias; can't say I recall him ref'ing us before
