Although Glassgate doesn't seem to be getting a run.
That's in Scotland isn't it? Just west of Edinburgh
The players need to be told in September, at the latest in order to be considered/available for other teams.
Perhaps the lack of announcement is at the request of, or out of respects for, the players who would prefer to be able to announce their own future, such as retirement (eg Yogi Bardoul), and advise where they may be going rather than having nothing more to say that "I've been told that I'm not being offered a contract for 2021".
It may have been different if the WF was still in GRR but that looks unlikely for 2021 - which looks like it will be SR again.

The most profound and meaningful result of the day today was that Cottesloe were beaten comprehensively and eliminated from the finals by Kwinana. A public holiday and a ticker tape parade has been declared for tomorrow by the Kwinana City Council in celebration.
It also appears that Cottesloe women were eliminated by Kalamunda women. No-one died or was seriously injured, and no police were involved.
Westieman will soon be here, no doubt, to regale you all on the results of the Wests - Soaks battle of the Titans. Be prepared to be shocked and awed.
Oh, and Nedlands were barreled out of their 3rd grade final by Joondalup.
We got pumped, no excuses just were never in the game however Wests are going down the same track as you guys Fulvio and are heavily investing in our youth,11 colt aged players either started or came on in Premiers yesterday.
The long term future at Wests is looking good and contrary to Andrew G's rambling's the real key to success is building strong foundations,we've all seen how check book rugby eventually pans out and the new format being proposed for next season will brutally expose the Cottesloe's and Soaks of today,I have called out RWA on some of their ill thought out decisions in the past but this point allocation system is one of the best idea's I have heard of in a long time.
