Send that on to Twiggy's team.
Even our eminent Fulvio would respect that confidentiality ( as much as I hate it) binds us to keep things to ourselves. Suffice to say, we are paddling like a duck heading upstream and very near to reaching our goal.
My dismissal to Fulvio's comments are that he paints only one possible outcome which is all about doom and gloom. There are other outcomes possible. I have no doubt Fulvio would also respect the rights of the majority and he would spurn minorities who may not get their way, yet keep nipping away. Our new Community Competition was voted on by all Stakeholders and only 2 clubs out of our total rejected the new format. So, Stop your whingeing, accept that the majority have decided, you may not like it, but get on with it.
By all means keep things to yourselves.
Just don't complain when those from whom things are kept come to their own conclusions, and react accordingly.
What's so secret about revealing to the (former) members of RugbyWA what Union (if any) they will be playing for, or members of. next year, anyway?
Our Community Comp will go ahead in the structure we have outlined, got voted on and agreed to. Pally will still get to play Cottesloe. To be Frank, not sure we'll have 16 clubs able to field 3 teams just yet, we need to keep working on that to check the numbers, we don't want forfeits, we suspect there will be a few cricket scores, but we need to make sure those potentially on the receiving end have the support to keep their members supportive.
West Aussies playing rugby officiated by West Aussies with the competition's administered by West Aussies and being insured by a West Aussie insurance firm, what's the problem and what the fuck could the dysfunctional AU muppets who call themselves the guardians of our game do about it.
It's time to seriously consider this as an option because after the way we have been treated there isn't much more they could they do to us.
Viva La Revolution comrades
We'd be free to update the laws of the game then. I call it rugblea uniron.
As much as I prefer 15 a side, I actually think the future of rugby in the Asia Pacific is likely to be 7's, but the games are too short. Maybe there could be an opportunity to bring out a "Super Sevens", with teams of 15 players but only 7 on the field at any time, double the length of the game, have rolling substitutions American basketball style, commercialised, new rules, then it's a totally new game, and not accountable to anyone else. Just a thought???
Rugby 10s with old-fashioned mauling! :D

RUGBYWA TO EMERGE FIGHTING FIT TOMORROW
Well readers, one more sleep and the future of rugby in Western Australia will become a whole lot clearer.
If your columnist is on the money, there will be a series of announcements made tomorrow which will leave RugbyWA fighting fit and in rude financial health.
The first will be that RugbyWA has emerged from voluntary administration, having cut a series of debt forgiveness deals with its major creditors including the mob formerly known as the ARU, its lawyers and the WA Government.
What’s more, the new and improved RugbyWA will have the financial backing of billionaire Andrew Forrest, as will the Perth Spirit team in the NRC after the ARU stonewalled Twiggy’s efforts to create his Indo Pacific Rugby Championship.
And word from the changing sheds is that tomorrow’s announcement will be made by John Edwards, indicating he may be taking over as RugbyWA chairman from Tony Howarth, who will step down.
That’s enough from your columnist for now. Bring on tomorrow….
Excellent news, and will address many of my concerns if correct.
I hope the announcement matches Nedlands Rugby Club's expectations, and that the financial information which will justify (or otherwise) the basis for confidence in the announcement is made available to the stake holders simultaneously.
