Rejuvenated Western Force ready to fire in National Rugby Championship

Yeah RA - thought you could squeeze us out of the NRC too didn't you, well guess what!

When Rugby Australia axed Western Force all they expected to see in the National Rugby Championship was a Perth Spirit side drawn from local players and a few old faces.
But RA misjudged the resolve of mining magnate Andrew Forrest and the re-born Force side open their NRC campaign against Brisbane City in Queensland on Sunday.
Dropping the Spirit name was a logical extension of the new club but the “Spirit’ remains with traditional black and gold in the alternative jumper.
