I have an event in Mandurah on Saturday. Will miss the :force: match, plus the televised curtain raiser which I was unlikely to watch anyway.

You're getting a little cock there Spartan.
I think the blues are a pretty capable outfit in a conference full of very capable outfits.
Looking at the team list for the rebs, they could virtually name a starting 15 for the 2017 force and we had to build a team quickly.
The unmeasurables will be massively important in this game. We're we able to recruit well given Ann the challenges? How does attitude factor in? (force will be desperate to pick up this scalp, rebels are on a hiding to nothing) have our previous two games had the standard we needed to cope at that level? How will the crowd impact proceedings?
Personally, I'd like Dave to name the best side he can put out there, because I think we can compete with it. I would love to see a power try scored and a close finish with stitch knocking over the winning penalty after the siren.
Others might feel differently.
Well, the Blues have lost 7 home games in a row. Not what I would really call a "capable" team right now. The Blues are either suffering from the Forces home super rugby curse by losing consistently at Eden Park, or they are a team totally in disarray with Umaga's job on the line. I wonder why the Blues just cannot win at home this year, its odd, especially seeing Eden Park is impossible to win at against the All Blacks, yet it doesn't seem to have that same aura with the Blues.
I reckon the Force will have to step up their defence big time. It is still really soft and they have leaked alot of easy tries. If they dont get this part of their game right they are toast.
I think the Force attack is very exciting. I love the way they seem to spread the ball across the field from side-line to side-line. Robbie deans had alot of success with that tactic at super rugby level and if you play with width, run hard and straight, and do this over and over again like the Force have been doing, then it becomes really easy to break down the oppositions defensive line and create mismatches with backs vs Forwards out wide, and also overlaps. obviously this is the Force teams ultimate test this year and providing they stick with their current tactics whilst attacking they should rack up a decent tally.
If 15,000 attend that would be a fantastic result. Maybe Force v Rebels games can turn into something of the feeling of a QLD V NSW game.
While there's still a lot of water to go under the bridge, I was really happy to hear an Australian team finally got a win in NZ, and that it was mostly ex-Force players that did it. Congratulations to the Rebels for a great win.
Really looking forward to a great game next weekend, and to see our players back in Perth. It's a great opportunity for Perth to show what's been happening while everyone has been away, and hopefully to get a few more people along to a game than they can in Auckland.
Do we know which ex-Force players and staff are coming to town?
We can make a big banner saying "Welcome back (insert all names here)"
Or maybe "welcome home" ???? ;-)
Think this game is opening up a few partially healed wounds. No hate for the Rebels, past that.... just the injustice of it all.
God, it really did feel like that last year we had cracked it, and we were on the verge of doing great things for years to come.
However, really grateful for what we have now.
Would love a win!

Or maybe “Money, money, money”
Cant blame them for going, people need to eat and pay bills.Perhaps if RA had been more helpful more of our players might have stuck around but RA strung it out so the players and staff had to make a decision.
Our new Western Force squad would become a true Aussie rugby powerhouse here in WA if all our ex Force boys came back and combined back into the squad. We could be called the Mega Force!
