They have gone way above and beyond and earned a lot of respect in OZ. The players were really struggling last year but dealt with it and were in the fight till round 19.

Really is a contrast from what the Rebels CEO said a week or so back which is the reason why I posted it here and not in Controversy Corner.
This is a club that has relocated to Australia for 4/5 months to ensure the completion continues like they did last year and the Melbourne Rebels and some of the Rebels supporters on GAGR are having a cry about a few weeks away from their cushy beds.
Yep. And they just had a crushing defeat in extra time with a mammoth penalty kick. It was justice after another woeful refereeing performance that nearly robbed the Ponies. But I was hoping they'd hang in for the win looking towards next Friday.

I was wondering whether anybody else though the ref was a bit rebels-friendly, thanks for confirming Shasta.
Have the rebels scored a try in 2021?
No excuse for the force, they know not to give any penalties inside the rebels 60. The revs don't appear to have any scrum, linebreaks are about as easy as we're finding them but they've been able to limit the two best teams in the comp to scores that can be challenged with the boot.
It's going to be an intriguing battle
No they haven’t, GIGS. All points have been from penalties. Our discipline needs to be perfect on Friday.
Good discipline and good kicking. Rebels play hard at the breakdown. Multi phase play is unlikely to work for us.
It was a lock and a flanker and it was the tahs d and they scoredIt appears neither the revs or the force are swimming in line breaks but the rebels know it, theyr kicking anything they can get.We need to play clean and tight, pressure their ball and bring in an offload game to blunt their pressure at the breakdown. If we've got somebody with a clinical short kicking game we should use it
I'm not sure what that was all about; but the reference was to Eloff and Sordoni. Both props. Eloff charged about 30 meters straight up the middle, off a nice ball from Sordoni. A couple of phases later he popped a flick pass to the Rebs right wing. I'm down in Albany drowning worms atm so I can't check but that's the way I recall it.
Rebels players are scum
I'd be happy with Hardwicke, DHP, RHP, Louwrens, Orr and Naisirani thanks.
