Mediocre 1st half. Better start to the 2nd.
Need to take the lead here while the Oppo have old mate on the bin.
And it happens... :)

18-16
55th minute
Feleti is on
Being a Force fan builds character.
Why kick a penalty with 7 minutes to go when you at least 4 points?!?
Godwin was the only player in the team that thought the penalty kick was a good idea. Why wasn't Feleti the captain once he came on?
Fck me being a force fan is tough work
Against 14 men for 30 minutes - classic Western Force :iconrofl:
I've walked out of there disappointed before. This time around I was f@cking angry. Don't pay my fees year after year to see any hope of finals thrown away like that.
Fucking woeful! Back to officially being the worst team in Aus.
Sorry X, but 24 hours isn’t gonna make a blind bit of difference to that pile of shite!
Just to clarify; I was ok with most of that. They looked good with the ball a lot of the time. But that penalty shot at the end was inexcusable.
I wouldn't go as far as inexcusable with 7 minutes to go, but subsequently kicking away all possession in fairly aimless fashion certainly was. The kicking all night was bad, out of hand perhaps even more than from the tee, but that last 5 minutes would have been dire if they were defending a 1 point lead. Trailing, it was just baffling.
The Force have always managed to lose but have always managed to show some ticker! But tonight zero ticker and zero brains!
Don’t think I want to see next weeks shagging!
Year after year and we are actually getting worse.
Quite a few first choice players out I guess! But the gap between AF’s vision for the club to be one of the best seems almost impossible at this minute 🙄
If I were to put a positive spin on the game Bayley Kuenzle was impessive. He made some powerful runs and could turn out to be something special.
You cant win a game without a forward pack. Poor set piece and not enough grunt to get us over the advantage line last night. Yes our decision making was poor at the end but at the end of the day we struggled for large parts in that game because our forward pack was not firing. I think this is what has really killed us the past few games.
To finish off with positives, Bailey and Manasa had great games. I reckon we just need an abrasive 13 and we will have a good starting backline.
Lacey was also surprisingly good, and the Prior/Pasitoa combination looked far more threatening than what we've seen the last few weeks (unsurprisingly)
Stating the bleedin' obvious but can at least try to get the lead with 6 minutes on the clock when you get a rare penalty in great field position. Even if your set piece has struggled and you have to go conservative - if you back yourself. Better to die on your feet, as they say.
It's not OK if you run up the white flag, opt for 3 points and hope to make 60-70 meters in the remaining 5-odd minutes for a chance at winning try like you just passed up FFS. Or hope for further penalties from a ref who has pinged you all night because you couldn't build any dominance. :banghead:
I also fail to understand why we take the 3 when we're a man up. It takes us so long to work our way upfield from our 22 after a restart before we're in a scoring position again. Got to be more ruthless when you've got an advantage and back yourself to score a try.
There was so much wrong last night but 13 down and a below average first half was the catalyst . You will seldom if ever win with 40 minutes of rugby . This to me looks an unsettled side ….. too much negative news right now ?? Bayley Kuenzle fantastic a great prospect!
