When did Burton come on? I liked him in what I saw of the Force A game but couldn't watch close enough to see him in the last parts of the Force game.
I thought the middle 40 they maybe trying things, but the last 20 when things picked up just gave me a sense of deja vu of previous seasons playing the last 20 min. Very happy to be proven wrong.

I'm not sure when he hit the pitch, but he played all of the last 20.
I thought the momentum thing was more the responsibility of the Dragons, they seemed pretty bumbling in the first half only to come out after the break as if Tana had eaten some babies in front of them.....they certainly stepped up the pace, which was what the Force really needed. I wasn't too surprised that the force were shocked by this, but pretty pleased that they responded.
At the end of the day, the result seems pretty pleasing, but only if the Dragons compares to a super 15 standard, I'm not sure everybody they fielded would make a super 15 side, but we'll know whether the force are ready soon.

Thanks Gigs for all your information about the game... Just Can't wait for the season to start on Sunday 15th in warraterd land and then to see the boys back from Qld on Friday 27th Feb

I'd love it if we developed into a formidable scrummaging unit. The Wallabies could sure use it!

Tana Umaga was very gracious signing lots of autographs and posing for photo's. He was a great player

Any news on Hodgo leaving on crutches?
-
Awaiting scans, it appears to be a hammy, picked up from hyper extending whilst over the ball, it didn't seem atrocious, but you know how hamstrings can be.
-
I guess the good thing is that Alcock is fit and able to step in if he needs a few weeks on the sidelines.
-
Yep, plenty of cover. Even Gus the way he played in the last two weeks could hold down the fort.
-
Oooh and that could make room for us to shift Mafi to 6 and get him a faster break from the scrum and bring Willie into 5 for yet another genuine lineout option!
Soooo many permutations!

Defiantly a hammy, but expect results later today is the word from the Doc's.
Any hammy injury big or small is always going to take time. :(
