Keep Green & Seibold, I love it when Qld sides are getting thrashed.
Still a mystery to me why Bronx hired Seibold in the first place. Thought so at the time too. He was virtually a rookie coach. He took over a squad built by Mike McGuire, full of highly experienced first graders who could decipher his gobbledygook "game models". Added nothing really, except losing Angus Crichton. Got to Brisbane and let go a stack of long time first graders in his first year. Looks like someone who interviews well but cant walk the walk.
From the smile thread. Manly were dudded for sure. I thought at the time it might have been poor communication or a fault in the "process".
... so do we think Seibold will survive a loss to the dogs of war?
He'll survive like Cheika did because it will cost too much to get rid of him.
It's the second time since the restart that Graeme Ainsley had come out and admitted they Manly were dudded by the refs. They really do hate us..
You have our sympathy. :evillaff:
I know there are a few of us old Mungo's who remember the SL war and the axing of the Western Reds by Murdoch. But for anyone younger and interested - check out this weeks Matty Johns podcast for an insider's story of how they did it.
Titans vs Warriors is garbage
Not as shit as the first SR Super Time. First half taken up with scrum resets. Second half like watching AFL with both teams desperately trying to fizzle out to a draw.
The rest just as shit - 11 lost lineouts and generally a mistake-a-thon.
I gave up and took the dog for a walk after Latrell Mitchell's dog shot on Josh Reynolds.
An editor trying positive spin in a headline. Not quite backed up by the article....
Super tiebreaker given thumbs up Darren Walton, The Roar. ..........
But while sections of the crowd booed the teams off the field after neither was able to nail victory, the Reds and Rebels hailed the initiative....
......... “I mean, no one really wants a draw. It probably would have been good to keep going until there was a winner,” said Rebels captain Dane Haylett-Petty
“Bit of a weird one really. Sort of half happy, half not happy,” Brad Thorn said.
Saw a very rare beast in the Storm v Raiders just now; penalty for a deliberate knock on. Never seen one before - in 67 years.
