Ah, but RA have been saying that they support WSR (eg, allowing us to use RA-aligned refs) while they've been laying down road-blocks. So positive vibes, if not positive actions!

It's called spin.
It's the vibe, it's Mabo
We all know how this works! RA call up SMH, "send someone over we have a new propaganda release, er I mean scoop for an investigative reporter'. SMH Reporter (and I use the term loosely) arrives to be given their talking points, "ok looks like we haven't been able to stop WSR, so we need to put spin on this. Let's go with for the good of World Rugby, and after Forrest has agreed to all our conditions, RA has decided to allow this competition to proceed".
What World Rugby told RA coming soon...
For mine, spin being put out so they can say to WR "No problems, nothing to see here, us and WSR, we're all pals and bestest buds, leave it with us, we got this, no worries, let's just move on to the next agenda item".
I tried to comment on Ms Robinson's use of the "rebel league" term but didn't get past the SMH moderators.
I was really nice and constructive - honest.
GeeRob it up.
Interesting comment from Brett Gosper re World Series (about 11min mark) - looks like they will be pushing for RA to agree “so long as its not upsetting anyone” :whatever::sarcasm:
And Castle doesn’t really give convincing support for Cheika, “.... he has a plan....”. Oh we’ll have a discussion after the Champioship... yeah right. Knives in HQ will be out this week no doubt. Read somewhere that a couple of the boardroom nobs are having frosty relations with Cheika ATM.
Blues fan and Jez are running rings around Geoff Parkes in relation to the Rebels.

at the 10.30 mark
And judging by the look on Castle's face I bet the reporter who asked that question won't have their accreditation renewed next season!
