What are the odds that if the Force is culled for the 2018 SR season, then the Rebels will find themselves in the same uncertain position before the start of the new broadcast deal in 2021?[/QUOTE]
It's not really good for any of them, as pretty much all the income comes from the TV rights. The scatter gun strategy of the ARU of producing women referees, women players, and seven a side players in the hope that it will "grow the game" is illusory, and poorly selected. I think there are less teams in the metro womens rugby this year, and hey - we've got at least one female ref. How much did that all cost?. I went for the Forces jugular on the "marketing" front for the last x years, ARU has possibly been worse. Participation numbers are reducing every year, I would say that by the next broadcast deal the pie will be even smaller. Doom and gloom, but hey, this didn't happen overnight, and there's a lot of fiddling going on in Rome. The Force/Rebel/Brumbie debate just clouds the real issues.

Seriously, is anyone going? I'm keen!
If it's for the application, it will probably only be to set the dates for the court hearing to start. ? Geez wish I could've been a fly on the wall in David Wessels office today.
You are all jumping at shadows!!!

The Hearing today will only establish if we go to Arbitration or to a Trail regarding the Alliance Agreement.
