Smart-arse remarks are a staple of Controversy Corner.:)
Putting this in "Mungo Corner" rather than a Rugby thread. Otherwise people might get the impression I'm interested in "Leaguies" :).
As has been noted; RTS had a pretty good day out in his first Rugby game since school days. His stats were impressive:...
55 metres on 11 carries, with 3 defenders beaten. He made 11 passes, 3 offloads and made 15 tackles, and missed 4.
Only errors I saw were 2 ruck penalties; one for chasing a kick and jumping on the player on the ground trying for a turnover. The second for getting up and going again after he was tackled. Thought he was a little unlucky there as he seemed to slip the tackle just as he hit the ground. But Laws is Laws I suppose and he wont do those 2 again. Could easily see him in black before too long if he keeps it up.
Only 10 days until the first game and only 4 tipsters in our Mungo comp...A little disappointing as I thought there would be more.
They are all scared of tipping against DazloT. He's managed to be equal 2nd on the SR tipping ladder after only entering 3 tips for the first 2 rounds. His dog sled must have been grounded by a white out. ;)
The entire membership (all 4 of 'em) of the TWF Mungo Tipping Comp off to a season opening shocker. Bloody Manly! :P
I tipped Penrith but changed it on Wednesday night after being sold a Pyramid scheme by Tom and Eddy at the Hello Sport podcast :iconrofl:
Its not how you start, its where you finish that counts......for Manly that is ;)
As places go
Manly > daylight > Melbourne
0/3
What a start :iconrofl:
