You go you good thing!
Just hit Kikora after a dramatic run in from Picton, shitty weather and the fuel light came on miles from town just outside Seddon, based on fill we had 3 litres left in tank! There are few pubs here and first guinness for the day at Adelphi Hotel is tasting sensational, even Sparko agrees.
Would be awsome if the weather cleared as snow on the coast could be weird.
P.S If you are headed for Picton see Sarah at Sounds Connections for all your wine cruises and fishing etc. Mention TWF and she will look after you :approve:
36 is Strawberry Patch awsome Irish bar with permanent replay of Oz v Irish match with bob marley backing music, may be back here later for some local produce!
How cool does Mt Fyfe look as it towers above that little Kaikoura peninsular? It would be awesome to see it capped with snow.
The Cheviot
The Greta
Im in Dingo Deans territory here.
Next stop should be O'Sheas in Shirley (Christchurchs = to JBs) and will be 40 in 7 days, not bad but not impressive!
Actually got The Amberley before we hit osheas and the first blokevi spot has a force polo on!

Spent the night at a friends place and have been for a tiki tour around christchuch this morning. I cannot possibly describe the damage about and how devestated the place looks and how much work there is to be done, truly amazing stuff.

Oh dear its one of those mornings, I drank so much speights last night im talking like a kiwi bro.
Finished the afternoon with another refurbed pub called The Turf, been big in the news here this week for not allowing moko or neck tatts, then to a mates bar called Robbies in Park land, then back to OSheas for dinner. Finished the night at home drinking speiights with mates (does that happen?)
So as I sit at Christchurch airport awaiting flight to Wellington, ill call it 45 down.
News here this morning for kiwis is sad, with zac, kahui n carter out. Im sure richie is not 100% but I don't think they could deal with this much bad news in one hit. May start some noose tying lessons while I await my flight.
Look out Wellington!
I actually gave mine a trial run in the comfort of friends late last night, and recption was 50/50, but could not believe they had not seen it before!
Just the one tonight in welliington this place is going off and it is the perfect town for it, the bangalore polo club was the gig, brand new, 2 days open middle of courtny place but re furnished from same place that was done over in christchurch..impressive!
