Good to see Mitchell Starc warning up for the Ashes with a hat trick in each innings vs WA.
Women’s Ashes are on at the moment with the only Test being played at North Sydney Oval.

Last round of Shield games before the First Test start today.
Renshaw made a duck so I'd say if Shaun Marsh can make a score he'll be opening in Brisbane.
Poms play a 4 day game against CA XI in Townsville starting on the 15th.
Nah, no way is SOS back in the team
Marsh made one more run....and it was a very good looking 17 ;)
I pretty much agree with "Henry" Lawson on selection. Stuff this picking on potential crap. Pick the ones getting runs and wickets. The shield is the place for turning potential into performance. By either measure Shaun Marsh misses out.
Hopefully they pick SOS ;)
They might pick SSOS (second son of swampy!) He just missed out on 100 today and Bancroft did his chances no harm with 150no
Cameron Bancroft come on down.

The Aussie selectors have lost their minds.
Alison got her wish.
Well done to the Aussie ladies for retaining the Ashes tonight.
Saw Brett Lee on telly tonight. Said selectors have gone with picking players in form. I agree with that. Bancroft, obvious and I suppose the argument could be made for Paine - even though he hasn't had the gloves. SoS has also been scoring well but how many chances do you get before your shield form doesn't win the argument any more?
