They're scared s**tless of "not winning" it again. I can't blame them, hope it backfires big time.
I'll laugh, Jay will laugh, then I'll laugh at Jay laughing.
well looks like im by myself once again with this one as i voted Yes
When it comes to the english I would honestly rather see my home country do everything it can to win the world cup even if a few clubs have to sacrifice half a season.
But as a force fan i dont want to see it happen
Why not, it worked for you in 2003, and now the Kiwis are gunna try and copy you :iconrofl:Quote:

Luke, we cannot afford to see a single quality player rested from the Force prior to world cup, especially after paying top dollar for our recruits. It should be up to Mitch to make that call, not the ARU. If england ruins its provincial comp by pulling out the best players, well let em i say. But not here, we don`t have as deep a pool of players to cover the shortfall in talent, and anyway, super 14 is leaps and bounds more of a spectacle than any northern hemisphere comp, and to see it weakened in any way is a real dissapointment to all rugby fans, especially tri nations fans who follow one of these 14 teams

It may weaken the comp but it gives maybe some younger and new players a chance to play and improve their game to another level while allowing the stars to rest and enhance the quality of the world cup
Well the English sacrificed their international season to rest players, so....Quote:

You make a good point shaunmarn, but the tri nations is good for us to get a feel for how we are looking weeks out from the main event. I really think that you have made a good point though regarding poker theory....It may mean that rather than play first string teams in the tri nations, we may end up letting new faces have a go instead, and save the big boys for RWC07....
$664 million of News Ltd cash would see that theory thrown out the window, Super 14 and Tri Nations will both be as good as any other none RWC year if News Ltd get what they paid for!Quote:
