You have to be f**king kidding me right?
Seriously... :S
I haven't watched the game yet but from the commentary alone I think Cameron Shepherd, Chris O'Young and Pek Cowan atleast deserve a mention!
Playing an underwhelming Bulls team?
Anyone can look good playing a team who is playing rubbish, by your logic the Harlem Globetrotters would far and away be the best team to ever play basketball, despite the fact the team they play against is simply there to make up the numbers...
If the Reds play exactly like they did in the Republic against the Sharks then you can come back and talk about it with us. ;)
Can't believe there is no Gits..Quade has the shapings of a good..maybe even, super..fly, but Giteau show of the "3 Cs" - command, control and confidence - was unmatched by any other fly half on the day. It is a travesty and I can only assume this is simply an exercise of ego-pumping the Reds into winning consistently.
Yet again I find myself complaining about the lack of foresight in this team's selection....the Pack's probably a fair cop really, but Feotai, Turinui and Cooper, though good were'nt a patch on their :force: counterparts!
The bullshit merry-go-round continues!
Sure the team of the week is a good idea, but it has been shown to be used as a publicity stunt to sell papers on the east coast.
When was the last time anyone of TWF bought the SMH in Perth, other than when they were short of toilet paper?
My preferred team of the week is to watch the wallabies run out against Ireland at Telstra Dome on June 14 with at least 8 force players in the starting team. Then and only then, will the force players get their true reward for a great season.
Do you honestly expect on a Force supporters forum to get people thinking the Reds are the best team in Australia while our own team has face challenges much more difficult and came through relatively unscathed...there is no high horse here, only the false-illusion of one Reds win causing the comeback of the Reds of old. (how many years ago would that be?) You need to stop lying to yourself and admit that although the Reds backline fired they were playing a team, despite last years form, had not dealt with the new rules and had simply played rubbish rugby...actually now that I think of it perhaps the high horse is the Forces standing on the ladder in comparison to the Reds by the end of the season, as I said before, good luck in the Republic. :D
There is no way that Turinui outplayed Ryan Cross... there is just absolutely no way. Sure Cross was targeted and was more quiet than usual but Turinui was no star either. He was lucky he got that try cause it made everyone forget the handling and judgement errors he'd made before that. That tackle Crossy made in the last minutes of the game... poetry... all class. And Quade instead of Gits? Please!
Team of the week is just a joke. I'm surprised to see no Tahs... sure they had a bye but wouldn't surprise me to see the clowns picking these teams throwing some in for good measure.
At least we know who the real team of the week was. A win over the Blues in Auckland is more impressive than a win against an underachieving Bulls side at home anyday.
I've gotta say TOCC, that I've been pretty big about the Reds this week, they played a good game, a game which I said they didn't have in them, I admitted that and posted publicly that they beat the Bulls fair and square. You seem tough to want a whole bunch of :force: suporters on a :force: forum to suddenly jump on the badwagon when the Reds have ONE WIN IN A ROW!
It's you who needs to dismount mate. The Force have had the toughest start to the Super 14 they've EVER HAD and they're still fifth on the ladder after knocking off one semi finalist from last year and pinching two bonus points off one and one bonus point off the other........if you want to suggest the Reds are the real deal, that's your right, I don't complain about that, I just choose to disagree with you, I don't have a problem with disagreeing with you, that's fine by me, the problem I really have with your views mate is that you come onto a :force: forum and seem to think you have the right to require it's members to believe despite all evidence to the contrart\y that the Reds are a better team than the :force: Well mate, if anything the opposite is the case, you are posting in a community which has a clearly stated purpose, that being to support the :force: and if any team should be supported above and beyond the evidence in this forum it's the :force:
Maybe you should spend more time on GTT, they're a lot more gullible over there, they think Kurtley Beale has a shot at a Wallabies jersey!
