It's not about age, it's about how all players performed in 2010 - if O'Connor or Hodgo or Brown or Pocock or anyone else pips Sharpe - he'd be the first to congratulate them!

ABSOLUTELY...without a doubt...and so would I....I am just putting my support for Sharpie....My Captain! My Captain..! He's never won it, and he deserves it this time...in my very humble opinion...:)
As you rightly noted, every vote counts...it's a tight finish...:)
71 Turner, Justin April 2, 2010 v Stormers 7
For mine-
Rookie: 1. McCalman, 2. Inman, 3. Charles & Tyrrell (and for the sake of one match last year Whittaker).
Best Senior Buy: 1. Sheehan, 2. Fairbrother 3. Hill
Player of the Year: 1. Sharpe, 2. Hodgson, 3. Pocock
Your right of course Burgs was thinking of the trial match.
"Justin Turner made his debut in the ocean blue in a trial match against the Queensland Reds in 2008, but his 2009 campaign was cut short by a back injury."
I thought Inman was a great revelation and is bound for the Green and Gold and Sharpie has lead from the front again all year. My vote though has to go to Hodgo who has been bloody awesome.
Dunning can go and join Melbourne as far as i'm concerned the penalty count against him must have been massive. I bet some one knows the stats and i'm sure he must have been the worst in the squad if not in Au!
only a few hours till voting closes! The "raw" lead has changed a few times over the last couple days...
