I wouldn't be surprised if Daruda leaves the Force, he has too much quality competition here and is very injury prone.

I wouldnt be surprised if a couple of our backline have already enquired about the possibility of leaving early.
Our new recruits would have changed a lot of players self-belief in where they stood in the pecking order.
Why don't we have 2 backlines?
Gold one week, blue the next!
Then we can frighten the be jesus out of the opposition and John Connolly will be happy that we are resting the Wallaby stars!
week 1. (Gold Shirts):)
9. henjack
10. Hilgendorf
11. Staniforth
12. James
13. Pelasasa
14. Sare
15. Mitchell
week 2. (Blue Shirts)8)
9. O'Young
10. Mackay
11. DeBartolo
12. Giteau
13. Cross
14. Ioane
15. Shepherd
20. Buatava
21. Daruda
22. Mailata
We could do the same with the forwards!!!
I can see it now, Super 14's 2007 grand final Subiaco Oval,
Western Force Gold v Western Force Blue!
9. Henjak (O'Young very narrowly misses out)
10. Hilgendorf (Hilgendorf is a match winning fly half)
12. Giteau (would be able to start for any team)
13. Staniforth (another Stirling Mortlock)
11. Ioane (strong and fast - one of the most promising players)
14. Mitchell (experienced winger and can cover for Shepherd)
15. Shepherd (another match winner. second only to the great Percy :))
After a few injuries in 2007 S14, I'm sure everyone will have a chance to start. We'll probably go though at least four fly halves!
Yeah Staniforth could be another Mortlock and we could have four flyhalves (Mackay, Hilgendorf, James, Daruda) but it is good that we are going to have so much competition for positions, particurly the key playmaking position of 10, 12 and 13. Given the opportunities given to the players last year through injury and the promise they showed I think they force would be able to claim the deepest talent pool in the backs of the Australian sides. I must confess that i didn't see Hilgendorf play much at 10 but he seems to be rated rather highly by all you boys. Also can i ask why Staniforth isn't wearing 12 for the Wallabies? Or why he isnt even getting a run in the 22? Its great to see Cammy Shepherd getting a go though, perhaps Latham could have a rest one game and give Shep a start at 15 and some decent game time! I didn't know about Josh Graham going to play League it probably makes sence he would have struggled to find a start this year. Does anyone know which club he is heading to? (assuming he is playing NRL)
cheers,
Felix

The short answer is yes felix, the Western Reds ('95-'97), however, if you follow this link you will get a pretty good run down on the history in this state: http://www.rl1908.com/Clubs/Western-Reds-Perth.htm
