Unfortunately it is the aussie way to not take things too seriously, like in this case when an intelligent thread is hijacked by humour...It is a really serious issue, agreed, and we all have to do our little bit to help...I am getting solar hot water system in my new house with lots of open plan for natural light and natural heat, with north facing windows being small so in summer they can be covered to keep heat out and in winter opened to let light and heat in...The Eastern wall has a glass exit to outdoor/indoor alfresco area to catch morning light so less energy needed to warm the house in the morning...Basically we didn't put a lot of thought into the layout and got lucky when the final plans were finished in that these energy saving features arose....It isn't much, but it is a start...
I came on here to talk about rugby, not politics. Don't be offended if others don't reply for similar reasons.
Global warming aint that bad, means I'll get more cyclones and be able to grow more steaks on all the extra grass...
I don't have a problem with that Bacon, you just don't need to read this thread if you don't want to. Incidently, it's not politics.Quote:

I felt compelled to reply even though I had nothing to say. I'm not the only one who seems to live by this rule. Not talking about you, more judging on what I've seen and heard.Quote:
