I was thinking over the squad last night and I'm pretty comfortable with the forwards.
The new signings cover most of the back positions (assuming the best and that they are up to scratch).
There is a question mark over full back thought. McGregor and Strachan have been good without being top notch so far. So either they need to really step up next season or someone like Haylett-Petty would be a top signing.
Personally I'd love to see another local added to the squad. He's 31 and if he can get the concussion sorted he'd be a great signing for two years.
Whilst I'd love to see DHP run out in Force Blue again, I'm concerned for his wellbeing. The time it took him to recover from concussion would suggest that it might be time for him to transition into his post-rugby life.
That being said, I think (hope may be a better word) that the Force will be an environment to look after him a bit better than other places (I think Europe and Japan would be more likely to want an immediate return on their investment, where we would be happy to see a local boy contracted at home)
Big news out of Christchurch, it appears that Manasa Matalele excuse the spelling is coming to the Force. He is a fast huge winger exactly what the doctor ordered

Manasa has also been named in the squad to play the all blacks.
Was keeping Sevu Reese out of the Crusaders line-up until he blew his knee early in 2020. Has found it difficult to get back into the Crusaders side since then, but did score the first try against us in Christchurch a fortnight ago. I'll have to go and re-watch the match.
Looking at some of the highlights the boy can finish. Seems to be a big lad with jets and able to read broken play well. Didn't see much defense in the highlights reel but he's a winger so that's no surprise and no indication that there's any issues.
Would be a good pickup and a great variation in style with Toni Pulu who is a stepper with great balance. Playing both of them will make it really difficult for defenses because you'll want to jam one and smother the other.
He would be a good pickup if the rumour's true
Some more highlights to whet the appetite:
Tries from 2018
V Jaguaers
Just checking in with the ChCh bros and it is all news to them atm.

The squad's looking a little heavy for Wingers:
Brache, Lacy, Ralston, Tapine
Plus rumours of:
Manasa Matalele, and Pulu and Kahui (yes he is also a 12/13) re-signing.
Yes Tapine and Brache can also play 13. Already have Godwin and possibly Kahui who both can play 13. Maybe Kuridrani is not staying? Surely they want to keep Makara.
Mataele and Pulu in a class above the rest, Tapine and Ralston young and learning their craft and should be blooded slowly. Brache and Lacy not in the same league, although great team men and alround nice guys. Kahui is a centre first and only backed up on the wing due to injuries and a need to have him on the field.
