and other Rugby Songs
This is the title of a book the ball and chain bought for me from a local swap meet.Princely sum of 50 cents.Published by Sphere Books 1967.
It is a riot, with 186 classics and a great preface by Michael Green who is dry as the proverbial, eg:this book fills a gap in English Literature.I commend it to all rugby players who can read, while even front-row forwards will enjoy having it spelled out for them.
Here are some of my favourites!
All The Nice Girls Love A Candle.
OReillys Daughter.
The Sexual Life Of The Camel.
There Was A Priest, The Dirty Beast.
The Virgin Sturgeon.
The Hole In the Elephants Bottom.
Can You Walk A Little Way With It In?
