What a difference a year makes!
What a difference a coach makes!
I have no sympathy for Graham at all!! Although him leaving us is the best thing that could of happened to the team.
I can see all of Richards chickens coming toward him from a distance.
Looks like they're coming home to roost :)
And how good is it to see Michael Foley's reputation as a good coach being vindicated after all the rubbish that was thrown at him at the Tahs?! Their loss is very much our gain :-)
At the moment it is Alison. If we keep this up for the rest of the year I will believe. Would you of said the same pre-Rebels game ?
I admit I did waiver Flying14. But I will say that I have never had as much faith in our coach/CEO combo as I have this season. I've been quite sure (and public) about that from the start. Particularly the CEO. And I'd bet my house on the fact that Foley had to coach the Tahs with one arm tied around his back and a lot of interference from the NSWRU board!
The Reds at the moment remind me of the Force circa 2007-2008. Not a lot of strength in the pack but plenty of mobility, some shit-hot backs who just aren't combining as well as they could, and a habit of throwing away commanding leads.
Yes, Couldn't have happened to nicer people. I really don't think anybody in Queensland has gotten over the fact that their organisation was so shit in 2005 that any player with half a brain took the first opportunity to leave.
Jono, I'm still holding a grudge.

many other situations. The whole show has proven itself to be a mercenary, valueless cesspit which will happily crush anybody or anything in it's attempt to buy another championship. Richard Graham fits in exceedingly well there, long may he reign!
haha mate people from Queensland have moved on, you obviously haven't....
I love how you call anyone who leaves the Force a mercenary, yet blokes like Sharpe who was next in line for Queensland captaincy is a sacred figure for you.. I hold no grudge for the bloke or others like him, he was offered a new opportunity in a new organisation, he grabbed it and flourished. Players come and go mate, as long as the team remains its nothing to beat yourself up over.
I admit that I doubted Foley.. Sipping from the poisoned chalice of NSW Rugby is not usually good for one's health nor credibility imo.
Curiously, if you search for Michael Foley on Wikipedia it is suprising how many entries there are - it must be a good Irish name.

Lets not get too far ahead of ourselves, those chickens you mention in the reds roost might not hatch in our own basket. We have a long way to go yet and some bigger teams to conquor than we have played so far.
