Simple without being too "flashy" in the style of TIF's "crushed coke can"
:)
Does the shed survive?
I have never been to the shed - but I hear it is important
The concern I have in the article is the "adverse gastric reaction" - looks like I'll just stick with a liquid diet while there.
Also, the shed is going to be replaced with seating (3591 standing vs 2097 seated)
i've got a concern with it only being suited for 25k eventually.
rip the fucking thing down, sell off the land and re-model subi into a rectangular stadium. see if we can REALLY piss the WAFL off.
then they can have their useless 1b stadium in burswood and go broke from having to manage it.
Unfortunately i believe the land is owned by Town of Vincent.
they can still sell the land. develop it and get the rates off it. they wouldnt notice the difference in revenue generated by the same amount of land. if they build apartments on it. they could potentially get more revenue over time.
:rolleyes:There seems to be an editors goof or a misprint- the report is saying the stadium is being dragged into the 21st century... :sarcastic:
Well, we're in the 21st century - so why not drag it into the century we're currently in?
As Brian o'Driscoll once said "Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it into a fruit salad".
So in similar vein, why don't we all stop f*&@ing whinging that the stadium that will be built is not what we indvidually think is what is required (our individual "knowledge" - allegedly) and accept that plans are in place to provide something that will be a damn site better than what we currently have in Perth (ie try a bit of "wisdom"). Support of the planned development is going to be a lot more productive than incessant carping criticism.
Love your work Blackswan.
NIB is a lot better for viewing rugby than Subi
