so although ppl knock my seats... i will be gettin the same next year
I agree with what is a good seat and what is a ordinary seat.
WHats the latest with the home ground.
Are we still at Subi Oval in 2007 or is that still to be worked out?
Last I heard, 2007 is pretty much a dead cert to still be at Subiaco. Even if all parties involved manage to agree and get started on Members Equity, there just isn't enough time between now and then to get the required upgrades done.
Won't be much competition for using Members Equity soon......
I don't think the Force will ever move there, in my humble I reckon they will stay at Subiaco until this new stadium is built.
They won't risk such a big drop in crowds just to move to a rectangle ground.
The only way it would happen is if memberships dropped to around 10,000 in 2007.
As it stands members would virtually fill the new Members Equity.
New stadium - I wish. They have been talking about this "New Stadium" for way too long now. I am a silver member and we asked for 2nd tier seating but unfortunately we are down the bottom. Still not too bad but not as good as some seats up higher.
BUT - we now have Super 14 rugby in Perth and that is really all that matters!!!
I agree with Burgs. ME will never be big enough...
That is why they haven't signed on at MES, the Force are negotiating with the State and Federal Governments to increase funding on the Members Equity Stadium redevelopment, for it to encompass 25,000 seats and have a greater corporate capacity...they have been negotiating this for months...Quote:

I doubt that would be enough for them even then Egan? That's only an extra 2,000 on present developments (plus the corporate). They would be underselling themselves to sign off on anything less than 35,000 I would think.
One successful season in the next three or four years and memberships will soar again. Just on this site there are plenty of examples of people who wanted to get memberships but circumstances mean they have had to wait until next season. I would also think that most rugby supporters would sign on for the long haul so add to that figure the ones who missed out this year, new Perth residents (from overseas) each year and the natural increase through kids coming through the ranks and I think we are destined to remain a very big membership team.
well im in for the long run.... mite even upgrade to the 2nd tier next year :)
then again i am a poor uni student
