The ARU has finally found a way to make money.

I heard that Stooke is resigning at the end of the year? probably not related, but I hope the next chairman gets ontop of payments and protocolls pretty fast.

I also noted that RugbyWA did not acutally admit fault, seems to me they have accepted the fine on a "what does it take to close the file on this" basis. I also think the ARU don't want to push it too far for fear of "you've done it too" accusations.

Resigning or is it the end of his tenure & he doesn't plan on another term? There's a big difference (although many in the media would have us believe otherwise).

Actually my understanding was they had admitted to breaching four protocols... but i think your point is still validated by the pissweak fine that was slapped on them suggesting that they weren't 'real' breaches of anything but just actions that are frowned upon

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
