Can Rugby use the AFL /Channel 7 strike to Rugby and the ARC'S Advantage?

What Unbelieveable arrogance from the AFL Players in ignoring Channel 7!

If that is the case , email Channel 7 in Sydney and Melbourne and demand interviews with ARC players

Email Channel 7 in Sydney and Kurtly Beale on in Sydney , as well as get Matt, Junior or Tai on the news as they train at Coogee oval Tomorrow Morning and talk about the Rays game on Sunday.

This footage will then be shown on Channel 7 News in Perth

While in Melbourne , they can chat to David Croft for the Melbourne Channel 7 news!

Here are their email addresses to get into it

    Channel 7 news Sydney - news@seven.com.au

    Channel 7 news Melbourne - melnews@seven.com.au

Not a bad plan TM however, in defence of the AFL players, I think it runs a little deeper than "arrogance".
None of us felt Knuckles was displaying arrogance in not wanting to talk with Growden in the room.
I understand the AFL players feel betrayed by the way Seven has gone about its business with the whole drug club issue and I think that is a pretty fair reaction.
As this site has shown in recent weeks, none of us like or tolerate underhand tactics, public vendetta's or factually wrong reporting.
I do support your plan though

unfortunately just because something makes the news in the eastern states (sporting wise) doesnt mean it will make the news here, especially considering how much channel 7 loves its AFL. It's a good idea though.

I'm not a big fan of the AFL's drug policy, but it's the sysytem in place so I'm definately not a fan of the tactics that channel 7 used to get the information just so they could get the scoop

Yea, I doubt that any of the 7 news crew would be able to ask an intellegent question of a rugby player in the first place.

apart from that I am also watching to see if the 7 news team are to be charged with 'receiveing stolen goods' - they knew the papers were NOT found in a gutter.

A very good point you make there, an example needs to ba made of these networks from a legal point to discourage future acts. I believe Seven should be handed a more sevre penalty than those that "found" them and that fine given now and in the future to respective player unions.

Perth Channel 7 - The hillbilly media outlet. For me it is like the West. Would rather comment on Cousin's, Kerr's underwear rather than rugby.

FR like most of us I suspect the imaag has every intention of putting his experience of beer down on paper, just when you get up in the morning most is forgotten.
Women fail to grasp that this is the real reason we go back the next day, and the next, and ....

I doubt if any AFL could give and intelligent answer to C7 so not much is missed.

In all fairness, what Channel 7 did was disgraceful and I wouldn't want our boys showing any type of support to an organisation that treats people privacy like that.

In my humble opinion I think that the Staff of Channel 7 involved in the incident in Melbourne should be spending some quality time sharing a Prison Cell with a Big Bloke named Bubba.
