Unfortunately, the team that counts, the mighty sixths lost to an all powerful University side composed of talented whingers.

No excuses, the whingers were the better side all day and thoroughly deserved their win, some six tries to two. Good luck boys, but please temper your whining.

What does trigger my ulcer is that Southern Lions, who have had about 3 actual games played this year, and were awarded the rest by byes and forfiets, will be in the finals at Pally's expense, Well they won't last long, but at least they are there.

Pally fifths cemented their place in second spot for a repeat of next weekend's first grade tussle, also against the front runners, Nedlands.

An omen occurred today when a pure white pidgeon flew into the club rooms just as presentations were about to be made, circled the room twice, and settled on the club's trophy cabinet where it looked majestically at the gathered throng. It then glided across the room, landed on our president's shoulder and then flew out the door.

    Thank Christ it didn't shit.

Rick, are you trying to soften us up for more judiciary nonsense and manipulation?

What's with the sugestion Blair Morris MAY get a weeks suspension for a second yellow card. Isn't a second yellow card in a game an AUTOMATIC weeks suspension?

Or is that just for the unfashionable clubs?

I gave up expecting anything automatic a long time ago. That rule book has a lot of loopholes.

Frank i'd like to say thanks for allot help with the 6ths this year and i agree the system the WARU uses comprising this byes system is complete BS!! I dont understand how a team can be rewarded 5 points for a bye (esp when the majority of the teams in 6ths had 3 byes and we had 1!!!! meaning we have sum 10 points to catch up on??). Anyway also thanks to all the other guys that made this such a great team to play in and lets get behind the mighty 5ths and 1sts and hopefully watch them go all the way!!

    Cheers
