Well before i report i will not be accountable for the following as im drugged up to the eyeballs as im suffering from an old war injury and not as sharp as im normally ( Errors and ommissions accepted)

Well its a slow start for the night and unusually we havent a reporter on the ground for the Spirit game. Weather has been shite for a couple of weeks, which has a bearing on proceedings.Id go myself but 60 k round trip sounds decidingly unattractive on a winters night.

I vanished for awhile trying to sort out dinner and keep the Ball happy.Im feeling a tad strange, so i stand out in the back yard and watch a few planes come over and land.Feeling better and get tea sorted. Had a Magners with another 2 antihistamines and feeling back on the money


Suss out who has lobbed through the front door of da house.Jesus, a man turns his back and all sorts of trouble pops in. Im surprised every one is cruising and is basically a love in. Im having flashbacks to the good old days(please note TWF does not encourage the taking of mind altering drugs).Its a sweet vibe and everyone is cool...man

OK folks, it's going in here! What is? My 500th, that's what!

In honour of TLHs sterling work in the face of illness, getting the report in almost before chat's finished.

And simply because I have spent many a happy afternoon in chat whilst skiving (oops! ) working.

In any case 500 is a paltry achievement compared with so many others; all I can hope is to keep above a 1-per-day average!!!

I was too late to join in (must've been a short session) as I was out in Sydney where Guinness was on special at $5/pint. However I resisted temptation & showed my rugby loyalty by drinking Tooheys New!! Entertainment included crab racing, balloon-blowing races & a hula-hoop stamina trial! Obviously, I participated in None of the above frivolities. A very strange Wednesday in Sydney!!

6am taxi to the airport has been a bit of a struggle!! But the 4 days of NZ skiing ahead are adequate recompense!
