Is there any consultation with the players, punters or is it purely blatant commercialism searching for another dollar. Whats wrong with the standard jersey?     Yup. All getting a bit too poseury for me - rugby should leave that to football (soccer), AFL etc... Rugby should be man against man & ball (or, of course woman! - my bad!), in truth I even have a problem with wearing gloves for grip. What's next - metal in the ball and a magnet in your palm?! I'll allow short sleeves and lightweight fabrics for hotter climes (aren't I generous?! ) but that's it.

    Ooops, looks like I got my soapbox out again... apologies, rant over!

    1. Sorry Em-Forcer I won't do it again - Scotland really are good and they will beat New Zealand, Romania, Italy and Portugal.
    2. This is going to be a world cup remembered for the silly shirts rather some great rugby - "1987 fantastic Rugby", "1991 fantastic rugby", "1995 fantastic rugby", "1999 fantastic rugby", "2003 fantastic rugby", "2007 shit shirts"......
    3. Instead of getting crappy new jerseys, they should have given a new set of shirts to some kids teams or a developing rugby nation like Nuie or Madagascar!
