    Wallabies RWC Jersey

I have bitten my tongue for long enough, but there is only so much this proud Australian Rugby Supporter can bear.

Please tell me that the Australian Rugby Union is kidding with this thing that they are passing off as a Playing Jersey for the 2007 Rugby World Cup. Will someone please tell me that this is just a late running April Fools Joke. Or maybe I am just getting old, can one of the Kiddies tell me that its trendy and cool.

Fair Dinkum!@$!%&! and the actual players Jersey is skin tight. If I was to wear a skin tight jersey to It would look as tho I had been fitted out with a pair of C Cups hoots, up from my stock standard B's and if TLH was to spot me looking like that after a session on the Magners he would be looking at me with more then passion in his eyes. I would have concerns for my likelihood of going home, alone.

We now have an issue, How do we show our support for our Wallabies and not look like a trumped up male model from Mudgee in the process?

My friends I have a thought.

Why not wear a classic Wallabies Jumper, this way there is no doubt who we are supporting, and the ARU will get the message that they have messed up, big time.

Without wanting to do some unpaid advertising OneRugby have this Classic on Sale for $75. Our Wallabies deserve our support, lets do it wearing Australian Gold like we did in 1991.

I saw the RWC jerseys in Rebel Sports yesterday and thought they were crap.

But then again, when the Wallabies jersey changed from the one in the photo I also thought it crap. It's (the current, non-RWC one) evolved a bit, but I like that one now.

Maybe we'll get used to the RWC07 jerseys. Hopefully they'll be consigned only to games in RWC and we can get back to where we are for all other games.

Besides, they are $140-odd!!!! I have one of them ones in the photo - may be a little small for me now - and a Vodafone version of the current one. Gets a bit expensive to support them every year

What it says to me is, '' Enough of this rugby argy bargy ol' chums, lets all go play cricket ol' chaps, and eat cucumber sandwiches, what''.

    What a SoftBok jersey.

That picture isn't the matchworn one ther are 2 styles.

AS thsi is the Cantebury World cup Jersey South Africa, Ireland Scotland will all be wearing the same design.

Its better than what Nike have brought out.

    Personally i like it.

Maybe its an 'age' thing Weebie?
I'm not impressed - it all looks too busy.

I was always proud that Aust. has held onto the collar thing. Maybe I'm just an old fashioned guy.
Definitely will not be buying one

The jersey would be good to play in with the tight fit and so on; but in terms of Wallabies fans the current jersey is really good and I've always enjoyed the classic Wallabies jersey.
