Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

    Again, an absolute disgrace.
Yeah gate 9 was where we had (tried) to enter as well.. and seeing the line I didn't even bother lining up for drinks.

At the end of the day, I think it was just too much money for too little rugby. It was interesting to note watching the replay that there was commentary on how it was kind of assumed that strong Force support would naturally roll over into strong Wallaby support, but I wonder if they will really question why too closely.

If it was the heinous money being asked, I wonder if there is a lesson there for the Force. I really like the approach they are taking to the ARC, with supporters under 15s free. I would have thought a similar approach to the S14 games would yield benefits - make access to any unsold seats free for junior rugby club members and, say, $20 for under 17s. Not only would it encourage younger supporters, it would make it more attractive to families, help the atmosphere and fill the stadium. If we were getting an average 35k to the games in a stadium that is acknowledged as being toilet for watching rugby, it would make for some very useful leverage on the stadium issue.

In NZ for Super 14 matches, a full paying parent can pay for one child and bring as many kids as they like, great for a kids bday etc. They allocate a seperate family area.

I'm sure we have plenty to learn from the established franchises, let's hope it's before it's too late.

I was really impressed by the way the Chiefs engaged the kids - organised face painting and activities before the game, token give-aways during the game when tries were scored and, as you say, the kidzone area where they don't get completely surrounded by adults. Wasn't too sure about using the Rockettes for the giveaways though - throwing the giveaways probably constitutes the Kiwi sex education system.
