    Oldies game june 10

SCRUM (senior ctizens rugby union movement) has another set of games on. They will be held this Sunday, 10th June, McGillivray Oval (University playing fields) McGillvray road, Mt Claremont.

Games will start about 12:30 or 1:00 pm. Start time depends when we can get the bar open.

Feel free to come along even if you have never played at GO rugby, anyone over 35 is allowed to play (younger players need the right attitude).
A feature this sunday will be an exhibition match of selected players ALL OVER 55 YRS. Thats got to be good for a laugh.

There will be a bar, food and a raffle so bring your old man along with a pair of shorts and some runners (no need for boots). Its a great way to recover for grade players - havin a laugh at some old farts whilst havin a beer.

Spectators are also welcome, feel free to laugh at us reliving past (percieved) glories.

Unlike Lote - we don't need any sprint training - we just waddle from one scrum to the next.

    See some of you there.

Congrats on your 100th post! Have fun at the game.

Is 35 considered senior citizen now?

Thanks LarryNJ. I didn't even realise that mark had passed.

35 is only senior in rugby terms - thats why gregan is retiring this year (ha ha)

I'll do my best to drop by and watch - S.C.R.U.M., France -v- NZ, AUS -v- Fiji, drinks at the Leederville Sports Club - what a line up!

Wonder if we could put together a TWF over 35's XV next season?
