Anyone heard whats happening with Sheps?

Thought he was on the radar for a Home test....but seems to have dropped off the scene.

Word I heard was that his injury isn't healing as well as was hoped and another 3 or 4 weeks was tacked on to the original injury 'quote'. I don't think that makes him available for the Springboks test either.

Suspected his knee may not heal in time.
The shame is that if he does'nt get a run on in the tri-nations he will have no form to judge him for the RWC. To miss that would be a great shame, it would be his making.

hes going to walk into the wallabies number 15 jersey. its just a matter of getting him fit...

he looked to be moving well this mornin..i trained with the wallabies as they let some of us NTS players play with them..Shep seemed to be doing well.

just spoke to him tonight, he is going to play some club rugby in sydney over the next coming weeks and then if all goes well he is hoping to be playing some tests!

They probably want to keep him around the Wallabies training camp and have their people monitor him. He's probably up for it too though since its time spent with the family and if that means he gets less 'home-sick' sounds good to me. I'd probably cry (on the inside) if we couldn't re-sign our Cam.
