Bulls snatch late win over Sharks

Absolutely brillaint final!!!!! Great for rugby and even better for the Super 14 comp.

I would hate to be a Sharks supporter, you'd feel as though your heart had been ripped out at the end of that game.

Well done to the teams and the ref. for making it a great game with no scrum resets, no fighting and good fast rugby. A model for next year perhaps?

yeah I feel sorry for poor francois styne (however you spell it). only 19 and missed the kick that would have one the sharks the game.

I feel sorry for him in a way Jess, but at the same time it will be a valuable lesson too.
He never took the ball back far enough for the kick to open up the angle and seemed to generally rush the process.
It was his first place kick of the night too which didn't help however, if you are good enough to take the ball you are good enough to get it through the posts.
He did have some uncharacteristic brain snaps during the match and I'm sure will be the better player for it next year.
May have hurt his chances for Springbok contention though.

A little unfair appraisal of the match saying all but the last ten minutes was "soccer", I thought there was some brilliant passages of play throughout the match and it was played at a real intensity. Some of the rolling mauls and forward work was amongst the best I have seen this season.

Fox had actually printed the guides assuming a Kiwi final at 3.30pm.

It was a fantastic match, both teams really played great finals rugby, similar but not as diisapointing as the RWC 2003 final.

Bryan, you are da man, but were lucky to not be sent off at the start.
