Brumbies re-sign Rathbone

INJURED winger Clyde Rathbone will stay in Australia for the next two years after re-signing with the ACT Brumbies and the Australian Rugby Union today.

South Africa-born Rathbone received lucrative offers from overseas, but said he wants to help the Brumbies continue their success after four years in Canberra.

The 25-year-old has played 26 Tests and 45 Super games, but has been plagued by leg injuries in the past year.

Rathbone is currently sidelined by a knee problem, ruling him out of the Tests with Wales.

The Brumbies have also announced the re-signing of fellow winger Francis Fainifo.
