End of Semester Report - THe Tour

End of Third Semester Report Cards – The Overseas Tour

Gareth Hardy – Had a fairly quite tour and is still trying hard.

Brendon Cannon – Hurt himself rather badly in the first week of the tour and has had to leave school permanently. We do hope he continues to help with lessons and the other teachers.

Tai McIssac – Has lost some focus while on tour and will need to pull his socks up if he wants to head overseas this year.

Luke Holmes – Luke will now have to step up to fill the gaps in the class following the departure of Bendon.

Angus Scott – Did not tour but did some excellent work at home and has been awarded our "Student of the Month" award.

Troy Takiari – Has been away from classes again this tour and his attendance is required for the last 2 weeks.

“AJ Walley” – The other kids have been watching his progress at work experience with amusement and his work in class is improving. Needs to learn to share the playground equipment.

Rudi Vedelago – Rudi continues his good progress and repaying the confidence shown by the school nurse.

Nathan Sharpe – Nathans tour was marred by some time in the "naughty corner" but all the other kids say it was not his fault.

David Pusey – Joined the tour late and we look forward to a strong finish to his school year.

Scott Fava – Scott had a lot of his old friends over to see him in the last week of the tour and performed well.

Matt Hodgson – Young Matts hair cuts have improved and plays well with the other kids.

Richard Brown – The teachers felt Richard let himself down during the tour but he is a good boy and will improve for the end of the year.

David Pocock – Continues to improve and looks to be marked for a scholarship at the end of the year.

Matt Henjak – Was away sick for a few weeks but came back again with some solid work.

Matt Giteau – Is repaying his scholarship in leaps and bounds.

Chris O’Young – Chris had a difficult class at the start of the tour and then the following week got roughed up by some kids from another school. Has now said he wont be coming back to this school next year and requested a transfer. We will be sad to see him go.

Jon McGrath – Was asked to get up in front of class unexpectedly and struggled a little but the teachers are confident he will improve.

Jimmy Hilgendorf – Has been sitting down the back of the class most of the tour. Was caught smoking behind the toilets again.

Cameron Shepherd – Went on tour with a sore knee and then hurt the other one at the end of the tour. THe nurse says he will not be back this year.

Junior Pelesasa – Moving round the class to find his best position and hopes to show a good finish to the year.

Ryan Cross – Spent time in the "naughty corner" for the last week of the tour. The other kids say it was only a mis-understanding of the rules of this school.

Scott Staniforth – Scott got over his knee problems and came back for the last week of the tour. Has told the headmaster he will be staying at the school form next 3 years.

Digby Ioane – Digby slipped back into some of his bad habits from last year and needs to remember his lessons.

Haig Sare – Spending a lot of time at the back of the class and needs to improve.

Drew Mitchell – Has been under pressure at the back of the class at times. Needs to pay more attention at the maths class as the other kids say he has trouble counting to 21 in the card games.

Pat O'Connor and Luke Doherty – The 2 irish boys have been spending a lot of time with the school nurse. We look to see them more prominent in the last 2 lessons.

    Headmasters Report

Dissapointed in the results of the last few weeks and it appears the lessons from earlier in the year have been forgotten.

All the boys need to focus on the lessons for the last 2 weeks of the year to have any chance of making it to the big schools dance.

Brilliant stuff TG loved the stuff about Gitss - the best comment I have heard about the Tour is that our lads need to learn to cheat better - develop a sixth sense of when the refs are watching

Onya TG. Just saw Shep at training and he is moving pretty well. Nurse has said no more Super 14 this year, but he should be able to join the prefects sooner rather than later. Still a chance to be dux.
