End of Second Semester - Boys reports

End of Second Semester Report Cards – Mid Year Break

Gareth Hardy – Continues to impress in class and still very fast on the playground.

Brendon Cannon – Has been helping the teachers with giving lessons to other schools.

Tai McIssac – Lost some focus in class early this year but has been learning well from the more experienced kids in the class.

Angus Scott – Angus is the ever reliable student and is always there to back up his friends.

Troy Takiari – Troy has not been seen in class for the last couple of weeks and we are worried about him. Could you please send in a note when he comes back after the holidays?

“AJ Walley” – Was put up a class this year and has found the lessons difficult. Is popular with the other boys and will benefit in the future.

Rudi Vedelago – From last years “sick boy” Rudi has grown into a model student.

Nathan Sharpe – The head prefect has been leading by example and doing well.

David Pusey – Started off the year very well but fell over in the playground last week. The school nurse said it might be quite a few weeks before he can resume lessons.

Scott Fava – After Scotts suspension he has made great progress and back to being the model student.

Matt Hodgson – Matt still insists on non regulation hair cuts but still tries hard in class.

Richard Brown – Richards wild child behavior at playtime hasn’t ended in tears as he is a very tough boy but not a bully. The head prefect has big great expectation for him in the future.

David Pocock – David has been playing well with the other kids and is up to the older boys games. He did spend some time in the naughty corner early in the term but only for 9 seconds.

Matt Henjak – Played hookie with his friend Giteau for the last class of the semester. Matty will be made to think over the holidays about the other boy who took his place in class and performed very well.

Matt Giteau – Absent for last class class of the semester and seen with young Henjak down at the beach by some of the other boys who took advantage of the situation and topped the class for that day.

Chris O’Young – Chris put his hand up in the class for the first time this year and got all the answers correct. All the other kids liked his answers as well and voted him “Best in Class” and also won a “meat pie”

Jimmy Hilgendorf – Was absent from most of the classes this year as well as last year. Was seen with a black eye AGAIN at the start of the term and his teacher’s hope he has not been fighting again. However he did perform well in the last class and put pressure on the other kids in the class to not play hookie.

Cameron Shepherd – Cameron is very popular with all the kids and the head prefect has uttered his love for him when he was under pressure a couple of classes before the break. Cameron is topping the class and all the other schools in his marks. Headmaster predicts a “dux of the whole schools” award if he continues his good work.

Junior Pelesasa – Young Junior has been a model student since his time in the “naughty corner” a few weeks ago. .

Ryan Cross – Ryan has settled in well at his new school and is popular with all his friends even being the foreign student. Has taken up the new syllabus very well and his new haircut is regulation.

Scott Staniforth – Scott fell over in the playground and hurt his knee. We hope he gets better soon but even while he is recovering he is helping out around the classroom. Scott was promoted to head prefect for a week and performed the job well.

Digby Ioane – Digby stated stepping up in class over the last 2 weeks of the semester and got a “meat pie” award just before the final school bell at the end of the semester. His problem with dropping things in class last year appears to have been fixed.

Drew Mitchell – Drew recovered from his bad start to the school year and been rewarded with a couple of “meat pie” awards already.

    Headmasters Report

Parent and friends the school year has been a good one so far with a couple of lapses in concentration that ended with tears to all the boys.

I would like to thank all the parents and friends for turning up on the sports days and showing your support for the boys.

At mid stage of the year we are in a better position then last year but we still need to toughen up after the break. The hard overseas excursion will test the boys.
