TWF Back Online

TWF IS BACK!

Well, that was fun... NOT!

Around 11:00pm (Perth Time) Tuesday night (20th March) The server that hosts TWF underwent a RAM upgrade. When the system was started up again, a critical hard drive failure lead to ALL data for some 500 web sites being lost. The hosting company then started restore procedures for all these websites which has thus far taken some two and a half days. The restore process was carried out in alphabetical order and the web sites which start with XYZ are still waiting.

Finally we were back online around 6:00am this morning - unfortunately this was rolled back to the 3rd March!! I uploaded an offsite backup I had and then waited (rather impatiently ) for this to be restored, which brings us to now. All posts/threads and changes made after midday on Sunday 18th March are gone - forever!

All tips entered in this period would also have been erased - as for tipping this week - we'll see how things go, might have to make it a bragging rights only week and award no competition points.

There may still be some issues to resolve, please report any funnies you come across here and I will endeavor to fix ASAP. If you have big issues and can't even post - send an email to coach @ thewholeforce.com_
