    Tuqiri candidate for Wallaby captaincy!?!?

    I'm assuming this is some reporter just running his mouth off and there is no basis for the captaincy comment....surely!

    2000 - Captains Fiji in Rugby League World Cup
    2001 - Plays 4 test for Australia (League)
    2002 - Moves to Tahs
    2003 - Plays for Wallabies

    One hell of a 3 year period huh. I wonder if he doesn't get picked for the Wallabies this year will he go to Fiji?

    yeah saw a documentary about him and his family a couple of years ago. He really did seem like a well grounded, well brought up guy.
