I like a man with ambition. I'd also like to go to the final so I hope he's right!

Save it for the game Scott. Sheesh!

I happen to agree with him though. I think the Force are an outside chance to make the finals this year.

I have to agree with scotty that we have the arsenal to win the comp, we just need to work out how to fire it consistently, ie, at home, and not just abroad...That would certainly upset the eastern staters, that's for sure...But, there will be no counting of chickens yet, lets win at home first, 'cause if you can't do that we wont be around come finals time...

Yes, the next few weeks will probably tell whereabouts we may finish in the mix and if the Force are realistic finals contenders.
No doubt the talent is there, just need the gel factor.
    And also.....little or no injuries!

There is not point playing each week if you don't think you can win the competition in professional sport...

Mitchell has said that many a time...

"Of course we want to win the competition, every team wants to win it"

    or something to that effect

This could be a classic miss quote if you read what he actually said.

"I think this week it's all about backing ourselves, backing that we can win this competition." he said.

"If we play to our potential we will win this competition."

Seems to me he was talking about "this weeks competition" not the season, Scotty didn't write the headline remember.

Although I did put $100 on them via NZ tab before the season started.

It's also important to realise that young Scotty is one of theprime indicators in Force success! If scotty has a good game and Yak and Gits follow his lead, we win. I'd say we will beat anyone on our day with those guys firing!

and even the ABC are calling it a Hoodoo.....AAAAAAArgh

    Hoodoo - AAAAAAAAAArrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh

We need a public exorcism - to shut these journos up
A cermonial burning of TGs betting slips, the coachs lock of hair, the enforcers bar biscuits, and a cow from an unknown cattle station - if nothing else the spectacle should generate the necessary column inches to make em forget
