You know, I was giving him the benefit of the doubt with his last tirade, because he wasn't reported as having a go at the players specifically, he used the word "we" not "they", and - shockingly - voiced his doubts about his own skills.
But, now he's blaming the Force for the Red's loss? For everyone's losses? Geez, I had no idea we were so influential (you'd hardly know the Force existed if you only read the eastern states' press). Desperate stuff, Eddie.

    I agree with frontrow:

Shepard (apart from his last few games) and Cross would not have developed or had the chance to play Union if it was not for the Force.

The Force are helping Wallabies players, which is why they where created because we needed to open up the hinterland of Western Australia, for Western Australian's to aspire to play Rugby.

Because it is not good enough that only 2 states in the country produce our Rugby players.

Eddie is making excuses, not thinking that the Force are doing plenty for 'Australia's' Rugby future.

I blame the entire East Coast for the failure of the Force in winning all games this season.

If they weren't so selfish and withdrew their teams, we would have a better chance of winning.

As I mentioned somewhere a few days ago, it's interesting to note that virtually all of the injuries are in Eastern States teams.
To my knowledge we are still carrying MacKay from last year (although new injury) and Jimmy, Sharpey and Pusey missed a match each and now Doherty is out for a couple. Are there any others?
We basically have a full list and not that many of them are mature, established players on the Australian scene.
Perhaps they collectively need to look at their pre-season regimes to better prepare for this level of competition.
Only half joking, but perhaps it is a sign of not having as many Wallabies so a greater proportion of our Squad had a proper pre-season rather than Touring then rest etc?
The bulk of the injuries in the East have been to their senior players.

There was no sympathy from the eastern states when we were missing an entire bakcline after round 4 last year. Did we blame any of the other unions for our losses.

The reason the reds lost on the weekend was simple - they didnt watch our game the week before. It was like i was watching a replay when one A. Pretorious came on.

Eddie get back in your box and start to do some real coaching. If there is anyone to blame its your players. - i mean 19 dropped balls for starters geeze.

Last week it was the refs
After the game didn't he blame his own team for playing like a bunch of U13's - today he appears to be blaming the Force - wondering who he will have a go at next his Dad for looking at his Mom - honestly this is nearly as good a farce as Lote

Eddie is in danger of imploding. Could it be that because he's not going to be preparing a team for the WCup, the pressure is mounting on many fronts. Eddie get down to the Gold Coast where the surf has been swell lately. Or have a massage - Swedish or Thai !

All four of the S14 teams have to take up the slack, not just the Reds. I'm excited by the new players getting a chance they would've waited years to get if ever with only three teams. Sheps is a perfect example. Rising to the occasion they will do.
