    Tornadoes, Aces make coaching appointments

Queensland's two entrants in the inaugural Australian Rugby Championship have announced the appointments of their respective head coaches.

Former Wallabies flanker Chris Roche will take charge of the Ballymore Tornadoes while the East Coast Aces will be led by New Zealander John Boe, who represented the All Blacks in the 1980s.

Roche played 17 Tests for the Wallabies and is a former Australian under 19 coach.

Boe coached Manu Samoa at the 2003 World Cup and previously fulfilled assistant coaching roles with the Chiefs and Highlanders in the Super 12.
