    6PR calling the game...Well done

I couldnt get to the game tonight and just had a flick through the radio stations and 6PR are calling the game.
Top effort by them and appreciated.

Was it as good as the translation that burgs performed online, cause it was pretty bloody good if that was the case...

Mick Collis and Lachie Mackay called it and was very good.
Barich was down on the ground doing some stuff as well with interviews.

I listened and was not too impressed, Mick does not have a good voice for radio, but his call was OK. Barra should not get involved with Rugby as his knowledge is limited. I know you asked for feedback barra but you are not a live action broadcaster in my book, I think that you do not do your home work. You can play the fool on the sports today show but not on a live action broadcast.

No just hate 6PR jumping on the band wagon and the dropping everything for AFL. Also the only sport their employees know is AFL. The sooner they realise that there is more to the sporting public than AFL the better.

Fact is, Pockets, Barra played rugby at junior representative level for ACT before his AFL days IIRC. So I think you may be a little wide of the mark in saying his knowledge of the game is limited. I listen to 6PR quite a bit and he seems reasonably knowledgeable on rugby in particular and sport in general.
This is is not a comment on his qualities as a game day broadcaster.

Yeah, Barra did play a game or so with the Reds reserves!
Who is with the 6PR commentary team on Friday night apart from Mick Collis and Barra.
I think their sports show starts at 6pm so last year sometimes they were at Subi Oval for a build up of the game from 6pm.
