    RugbyWA 2007 Development Calender

Great to see that Rugby WA have their Development Program up and running for 2007 already!
The free Summer Skills Clinics for Under 11-12-13's are already underway this week however you may be able to still get a berth if you act quickly:

    U11, U12, U13
    22 Jan South, Rockingham 4:00pm – 6:00pm
    22 Jan East, Kalamunda 4:00pm – 6:00pm
    23 Jan Central, Rugby Park 4:00pm – 6:00pm
    23 Jan North, Perth-Bayswater 4:00pm – 6:00pm
    24 Jan South, Rockingham 4:00pm – 6:00pm
    24 Jan East, Kalamunda 4:00pm – 6:00pm
    25 Jan Central, Rugby Park 4:00pm – 6:00pm
    25 Jan North, Perth-Bayswater 4:00pm – 6:00pm

The rest you can find at http://www.westernforce.com.au/wa/wa.rugby/page/51769

Dates to jot down on your Rugby-lovers calender are the 16th, 18th & 20th of July, when the Under 14-15 & 16 State Championships are being held at Rugby Park.

As a playing Junior or a Rugby Parent there is a great program laid out.
As supporters of Rugby in Western Australia, try and get down to any of the events that you can to encourage the development of this great code.
Without these type of initiatives by RugbyWA it will be a long time before we see regular selection of WA born players in the Western Force.
Juniors are our future and I believe that TWF should be doing all that we can to promote and assist the development of this sport we love.

I guess that is school holidays in July as they are week days?

Would have got the TWF BBQ Tent going again if it was a weekend.

Kick off times at 2, 3 and 4pm, maybe sneak in the Under 15's and 16's?
I can't commit to anything this far out but if I was down and people were going I'd get involved for a Fridy gathering for sure. See some great Rugby at that level/age.
There is also the final Under 16 Regional Trial the day after the Fiji Test which I will be down for. 9am-12pm.

so once again Katanning and the Great Southern misses out on school development days.

we raised the question last year and the year before only to be told they were commited to other regions last year.

With the Country Carnival being in Albany this year i was expecting the whole Great Southern to be visited.

For those with an interest you can find the 2007 Community Rugby Plan here: http://www.westernforce.com.au/verve..._plan_2007.pdf
Mentions Country there Krusher but no development dates that I could see.
I see there is a new Club formed in Paraburdoo!!!

Yeah, i`m still scouting for fellow rugby nuts, although i have met a few...But the pub cancelled thier illegal foxtel setup, due to the fact it was illegal, so now there is nowhere you can go and have a brew and watch the games, unless you know someone who has foxtel, of which i do, my boss, so i`m cool...I have also introduced him to this site but he hasn`t signed up yet...
There is a reasonable amount of interest in rugby up here, but mainly by kiwis and south africans, and poms, and myself...Same goes in Tom Price, but they have foxtel at thier pub, so everyone crams in and gets into it on game night...anyhow I hope you see some rugby action soon in the southwest Krusher
