Ok, there is a service called 199Bongo that will answer any question you ask it, and will tell you background information on any person you ask it.

One of Bongo's features allows you to send your name and your age and it will tell you what 'Bongo' knows about you.

I tested this feature. I sent my name (Matthew Beaver) and my age (13) to 199Bongo (19 92 66 46) and 'Bongo' Replied saying: "Bongo knows that Matthew Beaver loves hanging with his Scotch mates and always has a laugh with Pat Schofield and Oli Hoskins. Hates maths and languages." Now this was 100% accurate... I was rather.. EXTREAMLY scared by this... so i sent another one! saying the same thing. this time, Bongo replied saying "Bongo knows of a Matthew Beaver who was a student at rosalie primary school and was the Onslow faction captain last year with Georgia Denny. Loves sport."

Some of my friends did it, and one of them had played a cricket game this saturday, at which he scored 3 wickets for 12 runs... Bongo said "Bongo knows that Nicholas Dyre played cricket on saturday and scored 3 wickets for 12 runs" and one of my other friends got a reply saying "Bongo knows you got the French award at your primary school graduation dinner. Bongo was there watching"

Now this reply was also rather alarming because it was also 100% correct. I thought, now i'm going to figure this out. So I was searching the internet when I came across a couple of things.

it cost like $3 per text does it not??? that's why I get my mates to text my name in for me

Yeah.. it will tend do to that.. when i did it.. i was lieing in bed.. and when i read the reply the first thing i did was pull the covers over my head... then ran out of bed to show my brother...

Come now fellers, don't be spooked by a generalised "horoscope" assessment just because a computer program has the ability to do a web search on you and include any available information thus obtained in its response.
There is information on all of us in cyber space, it's just a matter of locating it and weaving a yarn around it..The info on you Beaver probably came from a school website or one or other of the many you or your friends have posted on. The info on you RugbyFan probably came from a work website and the conman made up the rest. If the cap fits, you believe it.

Yeah.. its not really the fact that they knew that.. ask any year 8 in the western suberbs if they know Matt Beaver.. they will say yes.. im probably the most known person in the western suberbs 13 year old group...

But its just the fact that they found that information.. i mean its probably based over in the eastern states, how did they manage to come accross it
